UCT's Gynaecological Cancer Research Centre (GCRC) invite you to join them in celebrating World Cancer Day and in supporting the World Health Organization's call for the Elimination of Cervical Cancer by 2030.

World Cancer Day is celebrated globally on 4th February every year.

As part of our contribution, the GCRC will be hosting a hybrid meeting with the theme: “Global picture of prevention and treatment”. 

This will take place on Friday, 10th February 2023 at the Neuroscience Institute from 13h00 – 16h00, with the face-to-face meeting to be held at the Neuroscience Institute, J Block, New Main Building, Groote Schuur Hospital, Observatory. 

Other attendees will join virtually, and we will provide the link for the meeting once we receive your registration form.

We invite you to join us for this important half day meeting which promises to be an excellent opportunity for further research training and uptake on current issues related to cancer.
