About our Speaker:
Dr. Lehana Thabane is Vice President, Research of St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton and St. Joseph’s Health System. He is also the Scientific Director of The Research Institute of St. Joe’s Hamilton and a Professor in the Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact (HEI) at McMaster University.
Dr. Thabane has held numerous academic roles as a biostatistician. He led the Biostatistics Unit at St. Joe’s until his appointment to the Hospital’s leadership team. He remains actively engaged in healthcare research, with over 82,000 citations as of October 2025.
