On 27 November 2025 the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS), Professor Lionel Green-Thompson, hosted his annual function for outgoing retirees. A slide with each retiree's reflections was displayed, and line managers bid their outgoing colleagues farewell with poignant, at times humorous, orations that highlighted their contributions to the workplace. Joshua Louis, a third-year medical student, enriched the atmosphere by providing a beautiful violin recital. 

The FHS is deeply grateful to all retirees for their contributions.
