The Faculty is proud to announce that Professor Bongani Mayosi has been awarded an A-rating by the NRF. This is a wonderful and prestigious achievement. A-ratings are a rare honour bestowed on researchers who are recognised as international leaders in their field. This is particularly noteworthy given that Professor Mayosi is recognised for making significant contributions in service, teaching, leadership and research. Prof Mayosi will take up his position as the new Dean of the Faculty on 1 September 2016.
