The Faculty of Health Sciences hosts an annual oath-taking ceremony for final-year undergraduate candidates to pledge their commitment to serving patients with integrity. It is combined with prize-giving, an opportunity for final-year students who have achieved academic excellence over the year to be recognised.

This year’s prize-giving and oath-taking ceremony took place on 29 November 2024 in the Sarah Baartman Hall to a radiant, ecstatic and celebratory crowd of students and their loved ones who attended.

Our graduates now embark on their internships at public health facilities and we wish them a meaningful experience.
