The Postgraduate Health Sciences Student Council invites you to an evening of activism and awareness-building around the issue of obstetric violence. In collaboration with the organization Embrace – the Movement for Mothers, PGHSSC will host a documentary screening and panel discussion about this important public health concern. 

The esteemed panel will include activists, researchers, legal practitioners and UCT faculty. This is an opportunity for students to learn about health activism and critically reflect on how we can promote respectful and violence-free healthcare for all.
