​Time: 16-week course consisting of a range of teaching and learning activities, requiring approximately 3-4 hours weekly. All activities completed in your own time.

Entry Requirements: Registered Nurses (Professional and Enrolled). You must be currently working in a children's ward, or in an adult setting in which, at times, you are responsible for nursing children.

The aim of this course is to equip nurses, who work regularly or occasionally with sick children, with essential knowledge and skills to confidently provide the most appropriate nursing care to sick children and their families.

A Certificate of Participation will be issued to participants who have completed and submitted all learning activities and assignments to an adequate standard.
