The Department of Medicine invites you for a talk with invited speaker Prof John Eikelboom.
Prof Eikelboom holds the Jack Hirsh/Population Health Research Institute Chair in Thrombosis and Atherosclerosis. Supported by grants from the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Canadian Institutes for Health Research, and the National Health and Medical Research Council of Australia, his research focuses on novel approaches to preventing and treating thromboembolism and bleeding. Dr Eikelboom has co-authored more than 750 articles in peer-reviewed journals, and since 2014 has been listed annually among the top 1% of the most cited researchers worldwide.
