Dear Staff and Student Colleagues
I am delighted to announce the appointment of Ms Isa Mkoka as the new Manager for Undergraduate Academic Administration in the Faculty of Health Sciences, since April 2024. Ms Mkoka succeeds Mrs Carmen Cloete, who has now joined the Centre for Higher Education Development. My heartfelt gratitude goes to Mrs Cloete for her committed service and contribution to the Faculty of Health Sciences during her tenure. I wish her well in her new journey.
Ms Mkoka previously served as the Senior Administrative Officer in the Faculty of Health Sciences’ Undergraduate Office from 1 November 2020 to 31 March 2024. In this capacity, she demonstrated substantial dedication, conscientiousness, professionalism, insight and strong leadership qualities.
Outside of UCT, Ms Mkoka is an eager hiker, reader and film buff. She stays committed to being a life-long learner and improving herself to add value to humanity.
Congratulations, Ms Mkoka! It is your exemplary performance and its promise of more possibilities that has inspired this appointment. I look forward to seeing you further stamp your mark on this important mandate in the Faculty.
