The  Next Einstein Forum  Global Gathering took place in Dakar from 8-10 March 2016. This high profile event, on promoting science as key to African development, was attended by several African presidents and Ministers of Science and Technology, including Minister Naledi Pandor as well as Nobel Laureates. 

Three UCT staff members (two from the Faculty) were among 15 NEF fellows to present at prestigious event to promote science as key to African development.
