The trial of eminent paediatric oncologist Prof Karabus in the United Arab Emirates (UAE ) has once again been postponed.

Unaware of the charges against him, he was arrested for the murder of a young cancer patient he treated 12 years ago when he worked in the UAE. He was arrested on 18 August last year, while in transit via Dubai to South Africa on a trip from his son's wedding.

His trial was set to resume yesterday, but has again been postponed, this time to the 20 Mar 2013, and with no explanation.
