The Faculty of Health Sciences is excited to welcome you to our diverse, dynamic and iconic campus for UCT Open Day. You can use this as an opportunity to explore your options, meet students and staff, and hear what it’s like to study at one of the continent's top health sciences faculties with a strong legacy of excellence in teaching and learning.

On Open Day you will gain a deeper understanding of the different undergraduate programmes on offer:

• Learn and ask questions about our six undergraduate programmes: Medicine, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, and the Higher Certificate in Disability Practice from teachers and current students.

• Find out about entrance criteria for each programme by speaking to our Student Administration team.

• Engage with our students from well-established societies, including  SHAWCO (all programmes), Medicine in Motion (Medicine), and the Surgical Society (Surgery), and ask questions about what it means for them to be part of these societies.

• Find our more about student life, and campus support services.

• Bring comfy shoes, a bag and a water bottle – you’ll be exploring the campus on foot and via our UCT buses to visit our other five faculties’ Open Day activities!  You can hop onto the UCT Shuttle to transport you to UCT’s main campus in Rondebosch, to the Law Faculty on middle campus, or back to the Faculty of Health Sciences campus in Anzio Rd, Observatory.
