Developing a Palliative Care training site in a Primary Health Care setting

As a Family Physician Jennie has many areas of interest and activity,but her passion lies in Palliative Care. She completed her PGDip PallCare in 2019 and works hard to improve the Palliative Care that is offered at her own facility, in the Metro, in the province and with her involvement at UCT, with Sub-Saharan Africa too. She is an active member of the provincial task team and has been involved in developing Palliative Care in the Western Cape to where it currently is. As a PHC family physician she works closely with her community too.
