FHS annual Health Education Research Day
The Faculty of Health Sciences hosted the annual Health Education Research Day on Friday 26 October organized by the Education Development Unit. Fifteen presentations consisted of completed research projects, research in progress, teaching with technology and educational innovations.

A/Prof Gonda Perez opened the event and Robert Prince delivered the keynote address on What the National Benchmark Tests say about FHS students, which resulted in active discussion and many questions. Prizes were awarded for the best research presented as judged by Prof Jennifer Jelsma. New additions this year were a workshop on Educational research methods in health professions education offered by Dr Nadia Hartman and a student session where two groups of students presented their projects.
