ComPlus - participation in plural health systems with public and private providers - lessons for South Africa's NHI?
The Health and Human Rights programme in UCT's School of Public Health, and partners from Brazil and India, invite you to the public launch of this research project.
The project will be examining how community participation can strengthen health service delivery in countries with plural health systems where care is delivered under one system by both public and private service providers.
The research project, titled Community Voices in Health Governance - Translating Community Participation into Practice in a World of Pluralistic Health System (or ComPlus), is a collaboration between researchers and community organisations in Brazil, India and South Africa.
It is funded by the National Institute for Health Research in the United Kingdom but is led by Southern country researchers.
