Dr Nnaji has a background is in medicine and public health (Epidemiology and Biostatistics), with research interests spanning the areas of global health, epidemiology, disease prevention, early diagnosis and implementation research. He leads review projects evaluating the role of population-based in collecting nationally representative and useful data for tracking cancer burden and informing cancer control priorities. He is also involved in the ongoing review of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on cancer service delivery in sub-Saharan Africa.
