The Faculty of Health Sciences' Pan African Health Sciences Forum hosted an in-person Africa Day Celebration on Wednesday, 24 May 2023 at the Neurosciences Institute Auditorium.

Events during the evening included an inspiring addredd by Head of Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness, Dr Keith Cloete and a panel discussion hosted by  ​A/Prof Tracey Naledi (Chair)​, Prof Liesl Zuhlke, Prof Collet Dandara, Prof Rudzani Muloiwa, Mr Nkululeko Kumanda, Ms Amanda Hadebe.​

Guests were further treated to a live marimba band (African Groove Marimba Band) and a selection of traditional African foods.
