Friday, 28 November 2025, was a historic day: it was the first time that the oath our final-year students take was recited in English, isiXhosa and Afrikaans — the three languages of the Western Cape.

Every year, the oath-taking is combined with prize-giving, and this year’s event welcomed more than 400 final-year students and over 1 800 guests in person, with many more joining via the livestream. The multilingual oath declaration was dignified, joyful and well-received by qualifiers and their parents/guardians.

Our qualifiers now embark on their community service and internships and we wish them a fulfilling experience.
