Congratulations to Professor Ernesta Meintjes of the Department of Human Biology and Director, MRI: Cape Universities Body Imaging Centre, on being inducted to the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering’s College of Fellows for her outstanding contributions to the development and application of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to understand the effects of prenatal insults on brain development. Professor Meintjes is the leading MRI research scientist in South Africa.
