Young women in the Faculty continue to make their mark as research leaders. 2018 is the first year that only women were appointed to academic Chairs of posts in the Faculty.

 

We are proud of our three 2018 Chairs, Professors Bridget Hodkinson, Mashiko Setshedi and Sharon Kleintjes. Associate Professor Jessica Opie is another exciting appointment as Divisional Head.

 

Together, they form part of the growing number of young women establishing themselves in their respective fields in the Faculty.
