The Faculty of Health Science celebrated its 106^th  anniversary at our Inaugural Alumni Open Day on 6 June 2018.

The event, hosted by Dean Professor Bongani Mayosi, was well attended by alumni and staff with special guests former VC Emeritus Professor Stuart Saunders, former Deans Emeritus Professor JP van Niekerk and Marian Jacobs as well as student representatives from SHAWCO.

Among the highlights was the unveiling of the donor recognition wall for contributions made to the Centenary Campaign in 2012. A total of R1.2 million has been raised through this campaign to assist the Faculty with some of its development projects.
