First aid for kids’ kidneys in Africa and beyond

The lecture will have a particular focus on using alternative forms of dialysis that do not rely on sophisticated technology. Professor McCulloch’s work demonstrates that African solutions for African problems exist, and with good results. A further cause for optimism is that these results can be applied elsewhere in the world, through providing any child in need with dialysis as well as the opportunity to receive such treatment.
