Navendran is a qualified Chartered Accountant (South Africa) since 2003, and obtained his training articles from KPMG (Durban), whilst specialising in Internal Audit.

After his training, he occupied several Finance and Operational Leadership roles in the Public Sector (Non-Profit and Government), totalling 19 years of experience.

Within this sector, he has worked 10 years in the Medical Sector, that largely focused on HIV/AIDs and related diseases, which was largely donor funded. He had also completed a one year project as a Risk Based Internal Audit Advisor for the Leprosy Mission International based in India in 2008/9.

Navendran's experience within Government and Non-Profit Organisations has allowed him to gain specialised experience in Systems Automation, Risk Management, Financial Management, Change Management, Grants Management, Operations Management and Internal Audit. Mr. Naidoo serves on Non-Profit Boards namely Advocacy on the Prevention of HIV in Africa (APHA)
