The Research Intelligence portfolio administers research support services by serving:

• internal research-related funding schemes and awards
• postdoctoral fellowships
• statutory reporting requirements (e.g. submission of research output data to the relevant departments and the university research office) 
• support to researchers with their applications for faculty research committee (FRC) funding schemes or evaluation
• servicing of research-related committees responsible for the distribution of internal FRC research funding schemes,
• publication capturing, analysis and quality assurance and 
• submission of reports to funders and government agencies.
