On Friday, 22 September 2023, the Faculty of Health Sciences celebrated Heritage Day in the Barnard Fuller quad.

Prizes were awarded to staff and students in the best-dressed traditional outfits, there were African food stalls and entertainment was provided by Isibane se Africa, a Khayeltisha-based choir and dance group.
