The Children’s Institute has released its Annual Report 2016:

2016 was a productive year for the Children’s Institute. It marked the completion of a number of primary research projects, and a string of peer-reviewed publications, research reports and research briefs focusing on child protection, social assistance and early childhood development. Key highlights include a Vice Chancellor’s Open Lecture to celebrate the 10^th anniversary of the South African Child Gauge, the publication of the South African Early Childhood Review; and our contribution to civil society’s shadow reports to the UN and AU.
