Saif has a background in Biochemistry, Genetics and Medical Cell Biology. He is a doctoral candidate in Prof Sharon Prince’s laboratory and his project focuses on investigating the molecular pathways that drive cervical cancer and has adopted a drug repurposing approach to identify potential cheap and target specific commercially available drugs to treat the poorest women suffering with this disease. Saif leads the CRI Post Graduate Group.
