Course fee is: R 6,500 per person
The course aims to empower educators to reflect critically on their own disability inclusive practices through dialogues within a community of inquiry to promote equity, equal access and dignity for learners with disabilities. Participants will explore the use of Universal Design for Learning within the practices of inclusive education.
Who Should Attend?
Educators & Principals at school, district and provincial levels, responsible for supporting the education of learners with disabilities.

- Disability experiences of education
- Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
- Critical examination of Special Education and Inclusive Education
- Enabling policies: Supporting teachers/promoting advocacy/support systems for educators (SIAS)
- Connecting schools, families and communities
- Developing an inclusive school
- Disability Rights and Assistive Technology (AT)
- Understanding Intellectual Disability
- Physical impairment, cerebral palsy
- Application and Implementation
A digital certificate of completion will be issued to participants on successful completion of the course.
