Module 1 Assessment
Module 1 comprises Lessons concerning assessment of dizziness and balance disorders.
Who should attend?
The course is aimed at Audiologists, Neurologists, Otologists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, General Practitioners.
Entry requirements: HPCSA registered in one of the above professions. Course must be within the professions' scope of practice.
Course Content:
- The comprehensive case history
- The Big Five vestibular disorders
- Clinical examination
- Special investigations
- Psychological and functional issues in dizzy patients
Learning Outcomes: The outcome for Module 1 is that practitioners will be able to comprehensively and holistically identify and assess the aetiology of primarily vestibular disorders. Complimentary readings will prompt consideration of non-vestibular disorders, but the main focus is the vestibular system.
A digital certificate of completion and CPD points will be issued to participants on successful completion of the course.
