Ms Sonja Lynn Walker
I am a registered Nurse and Midwife, who has worked in the public health sector. Majority of my professional career is in academia South Africa. In addition to my basic qualification, I obtained have additional qualifications such as a Master’s degree in Advanced Midwifery and Neonatology and a Diploma in Nursing Education. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Nursing.
I was a recipient of an award for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
I’ve presented papers at many national Midwifery conferences and one international conferences on Lymphoedema. In addition to my membership with the South African Nursing Council I also served on South African Society of Midwives Provincial office bearer.

Registered Nurse in (General nursing, Community Health and Psychiatry) and Midwifery
