Admission requirements & applications
The undergraduate BSc Physiotherapy programme is a four year course from which students may progress directly to master's programmes. An Intervention Programme is offered for those students who find it difficult to make the transition from school to university and who need additional support in developing academic literacy and quantitative numeracy skills. This takes the form of an additional one year of study, which runs from June to May.
Admission is competitive and the criteria reflect a commitment to diversity and redress. All students are required to write an Academic Readiness Test which contributes 30% to the final admission score. In addition, Mathematics and Physical Science or Biology are requirements. In addition a Personal Report may be used to distinguish between students with the same score. The Table below gives an indication of the outcome that applicants can expect based on their results. (Note that this is simply an indication and the outcome depends on the applications received).
