Ms Zarina Syed
Clinical Educator
My area of practice and scholarship is within Mental Health (MH). My research interests lie within acute mental health, addictions, student mental health, and research that investigates the experiences of clinicians. My clinical supervision has fostered my interest in exploring the above areas. My Master’s research investigated professional identity development in students in acute psychiatry. A significant finding was regarding the central role of the occupational therapist in the acute psychiatric setting. I supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students across a range of topics, predominantly within Mental Health.
