Mr Leron Hector

I am fairly new to the academic space. My areas of practice are in neurology, care of the elderly, and orthopedic physiotherapy. I particularly enjoy seeing the results I am able to achieve with my patients and appreciate the impact of physiotherapy treatment on their quality of life. I really enjoy my engagements with the elderly, and I find that active ageing is an approach that is often neglected, although really needed. I currently run a private practice and have observed the need for home-based physiotherapy services to address issues of access. 

My research interests lie within health systems, more specifically how these are structured and how these may need to change to positively impact the delivery of physiotherapy services. I am currently completing my Executive MBA journey; this qualification will aid in my understanding of health systems and help me to identify strategies to deliver physiotherapy services to the customer in a more efficient and effective way.
