Khanyisa Mandondo

Clinical Educator for Clinical forensic Nursing

Khanyisa Mandondo-Ngqambuza is a Registered Nurse and Midwife based in Cape
Town, with broad clinical experience in Primary Health Care, Obstetrics, Neonatal
Intensive Care (NICU), and Clinical Research across South Africa’s public and
private health sectors.
She obtained a Bachelor of Nursing Science (Cum Laude) from the University of the
Western Cape and holds Postgraduate Diplomas in Primary Care Nursing and
Nursing Education from Stellenbosch University. She has also completed Forensic
Nurse Examiner training in the United States and is a registered assessor and
moderator.
Khanyisa is passionate about nursing education, mentorship, and clinical excellence.
She is actively involved in the development of the Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical
Forensic Nursing and is dedicated to empowering nurses to provide high-quality,
evidence-based, and compassionate care to patients affected by violence and
trauma.
Currently a Master’s degree candidate at the University of Cape Town, her academic
interests focus on clinical forensic nursing research and the advancement of
specialist nursing practice in South Africa.
