Introduction

V. Hlayisi is a multiple award-winning clinician, lecturer and health researcher in her field. She is a healthcare leader serving in executive boards of the South African Association of Audiologists as well as the Western Cape Department of Health Facilities Board for the Groote Schuur Hospital. Vera is passionate about youth empowerment to increase transformation and development in South Africa and Africa as a whole, to this end she is also a director at an NGO Little Big Ideas.
