Introduction 

I am a Senior Clinical Educator in the Work Related Practice Cluster. My supervisory work is centred on the meaning and value of work, and how this shapes employment strategies, occupational engagement, and therapy practices that are contextually relevant to the South African economy.

My research interests lie within Health Professions Education, particularly in assessment practices, decolonising education, and student experiences. My PhD focuses on the development of valid assessment practices in occupational therapy education in South Africa. Through this work, I hope to contribute towards a philosophy of assessment that supports contextually relevant assessment methods and decision-making within occupational therapy education.

I am passionate about justice-oriented approaches to teaching, learning, and research. My recent work has focused on the development of contextually relevant learning resources grounded in Universal Design for Learning principles to promote inclusivity, as well as research related to decolonial methodologies and assessment practice.
