Clinical education is an important part of the Physiotherapy programme, allowing students to apply their knowledge and develop practical skills in real-world settings.

Students gain experience across a range of healthcare and community environments, including hospitals, clinics, community health centres, special schools, homes and other community-based facilities.

Clinical learning takes place in urban, peri-urban and under-resourced communities, supporting students to develop the skills needed to work effectively within the South African healthcare context.

Students are expected to engage professionally with patients and participate fully in clinical placements as they progress through the programme.
