Clinical Educator

Qualifications

Introduction

I am a physiotherapist whose journey has come full circle , from graduating as a student at UCT, to now contributing to the same learning spaces that once shaped and inspired me.
While my clinical passion lies within musculoskeletal physiotherapy, my greatest passion lies in the students, their growth, and the process of becoming thoughtful, reflective, and compassionate clinicians. I am deeply invested in creating learning environments that encourage critical thinking, clinical reasoning, curiosity, and confidence, while reminding students that meaningful healthcare begins with human connection.
My research interests centre around clinical reasoning in physiotherapy education, reflective practice, and the role of frameworks such as the ICF in shaping teaching, learning, and clinical decision-making. I am passionate about contributing to physiotherapy education that is contextually relevant, socially responsive, and grounded in both competence and compassion. At the heart of my work is a commitment to mentorship, lifelong learning, and helping shape a generation of physiotherapists who are not only skilled clinicians, but impactful people.
