Di McIntyre appointed as New Executive Director of International Health Economics Association (iHEA)
Prof Di McIntyre, Health Economics Unit, has been appointed as the Executive Director of the International Health Economics Association (iHEA) as from 1 January 2016.
Di will succeed Prof Tom Getzen, the founder and Executive Director of iHEA for the last 22 years. Di was selected from eight candidates for this position.
iHEA is the leading global health economics organisation, whose mission is to increase communication among health economists, foster a higher standard of debate in the application of economics to health and health care systems, and assist young researchers at the start of their careers. iHEA hosts a bi-annual World Congress in Health Economics.
