Student Awards for Best Poster Presentations at the School's Third Annual Research Day

Recipients of awards at this year’s School Research Day were:


Dorothy Ngajilo, Division of Occupational Medicine for the Best Poster by an MMed student for her poster entitled “Risk factors with asthma phenotypes in poultry farm workers”
 

Emma Kalk, Centre for Infectious Diseases Epidemiology and Research (CIDER) for the Best Poster by a MPH student for her poster entitled “Closing the gaps in the prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) care continuum in Mitchell's Plain”
 

Adam Bertscher, Division of Health Policy and Systems for the Best Poster by a MPH student for his poster entitled “Policy Analysis: Exploring the Policy Formulation Process of the Draft Control of Marketing of Alcohol Bill (August 2013 to January 2015)”
 

Nicola Foster, Health Economics Unit (HEU) for the Best Poster by a PhD student for her poster entitled “The cost of TB screening in Gauteng, South Africa”
