22 June 2026 - Bundibugyo Ebola Virus Disease webinar: What we need to know
Recording:

“During the pandemic, the COVID-19 ECHO clinics were a highlight of our academic outreach efforts, involving all Divisions of the Department of Medicine, as well as International Speakers. As the accompanying summary shows, more than 11,000 participants registered for these seminars from from 47 countries on 5 continents – demonstrating the reach and power of networking and the multiple benefits of connectivity. Our gratitude is expressed to Project ECHO of the University of New Mexico for extending the Liver Unit’s “Viral Hepatitis in sub-Saharan Africa” ECHO license and to the organisers of this very successful series from our Department: Professors Wendy Spearman, Mark Sonderup and Graeme Meintjes. Additional topics such as Vaccinology, Aerobiology Transmission of TB and Hepatology have recently been included”.
Professor Ntusi, Chair and Head of the Department of Medicine, Groote Schuur Hospital and Faculty of Health Sciences, UCT. Cape Town, South Africa.
The recordings are made available each week on this site within 3 days of the meeting having been held.
