Prof Alfred Douba

Prof Alfred Douba is a medical doctor. He has a state diploma for medical doctor from University of Cocody (currently Felix Houphouêt-Boigny Universty) in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. He also has a master in public health from Geneva University, Switzerland, and a master in public health (epidemiology track) from Georgia State University, USA. He took short courses training in vaccinology (VACFA, ADVAC, AVCN).

Since 2009, he is the deputy secretary of the National Immunization Technical Advisory Group (NITAG) in Côte d’Ivoire.   

Since 2020, he is an associate professor at Felix Houphouêt-Boigny Universty where he teaches epidemiology.

Ha has been principal investigator for COVID-19 related surveys in Côte d’Ivoire.
