Miss Bianca Obadic

Bianca (known in the group as Baby Bianca or Bianca Jr) completed her BSc at UCT majoring in genetics and human anatomy and physiology in 2022. In 2023 she completed her PCGE qualification specialising in Senior Phase and FET teaching. In 2024 she joined the Division of Human Genetics, where she completed her Honours degree (which was awarded in the first class) under the Pharmacogenomics group. She is currently working on her Masters, which focuses on identifying genetic susceptibility biomarkers for Lupus Nephritis, under the supervision of Dr Khuthala Mnika.
