Following the HATTP Writing Retreat in December 2023, on Saturday 6th July, Fogarty HATTP fellows and Faculty met at “Onderdorp”, just below the noon gun in Bo Kaap, for the first of the 3-monthly writing sessions. With beautiful views of Table Mountain, warmth from the fireplace and delicious coffee, attendees were able to focus on their writing projects: from manuscript writing to new protocol development and grant applications. Faculty were available to support, with manuscript review as well as planning and brainstorming discussions, and attendees were able to network and support each other as well.
