Bringing the Writing Lab to You

The FHS Writing Lab's expertise extends beyond our walls. We are available to bring our work to your institution, organisation, or event through a range of tailored engagements, including keynote addresses, webinars, workshops, professional development training, writing retreats, and writing tutor training.

Our work is grounded in the Academic Literacies framework, which means we approach writing as a social and identity practice. Whether you are looking to equip health sciences educators with strategies to support student writers, build capacity in your writing tutors, create protected time and space for academics through a writing retreat, explore the intersection of AI and authorial identity, or build a writing culture within your department or institution, we would love to collaborate.

We welcome invitations from universities, health professions education networks, professional bodies, and community organisations, both locally, across the African continent and abroad.

Get in touch to discuss how we can tailor an engagement for your context.
