ISMRM Merit Award for Dr Ali Alhamud

Congratulations to Dr Ali Alhamud and coauthors for receiving the ISMRM Merit Award "Magna Cum Laude" for their conference paper "Real-Time Shim Correction During Functional MRI Using a Volumetric Navigator" by Ali Alhamud, Paul Taylor, Jia Fan, Ernesta Meintjes and André J.W. van der Kouwe. The authors represent the Department of Human Biology, MRC/UCT Medical Imaging Research Unit, University of Cape Town; the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS), Western Cape, South Africa; and the Massachusetts General Hospital, USA. Dr Alhamud will deliver an oral presentation of the paper at the 23^rd Annual Meeting & Exhibition of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine which will be held in Toronto on 30 and 31 May 2015.
