Award for Dr Sudesh Sivarasu
Dr Sudesh Sivarasu, Senior Lecturer in the Division of Biomedical Engineering, has been awarded for the medical device 'reScribe' the 3rd place in the 'Emerging Medical Innovation Competition' conducted by Medical Industry Leadership Institute, Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, which was a part of Design of Medical Devices conference. There were 56 participants who competed, who were mostly from medical device companies. The prize is $15,000 (approx. ZAR180,000) worth Medical Device Valuation report by Carlson MILI.
