Dr Sudesh Sivarasu finalist in South African Innovation Fellows Competition

Dr Sudesh Sivarasu from the Division of Biomedical Engineering has been announced as finalist for the South African Innovation Fellows Competition with his entry of a value engineered low-cost portable mechanical CPAP ventilator that is manually operated and will cater to 5-10 years old children with asthma. Congratulations to Dr Sivarasu! He now stands a chance of winning a substantial fellowship grant and mentoring from Philips.
