Congratulations to Sophie Kisting on receiving the American Public Health Association’s (APHA) 2019 Leslie Nickel’s International Award for Global Achievements in Worker Health and Safety (citation below).
This is the third time the award is made to a South African. Previous recipients of the award were Rajen Naidoo, UKZN (1995) and Mohamed Jeebhay, UCT (1998) and a wonderful accolade of Sophie's achievements.
