Congratulations to Assoc. Prof Liz Gwyther (Family Medicine Division), Hanne Haricharan (Public Health Medicine Division), Lorna Olckers (Public Health Medicine Division), Tammy Philips (Epidemiology and Biostatistics Division) and Ingrid van der Heijden (Social and Behavioural Sciences Division) on graduating with their PhDs on Friday 12 July 2019.

This is a wonderful achievement.  Well done to all of them!

These achievements attest to the growing strength and popularity of the doctoral programme, which now has 80 students pursuing their research in the various fields of public health and family medicine and registered in the 8 divisions of the School.

A special thank you to Assoc. Prof Susan Cleary (Programme Convenor) and Ms Latiefa Adams (Programme Administrator) for running this programme in the School and to all the supervisors in the various divisions of the School and beyond for their academic contributions and mentorship of these students.
